THE BEST 3 INGREDIENT PANCAKES


Pancakes are probably my favourite breakfast food, so when I started this cut it was my goal to make pancakes as high protein and low calorie as possible whilst they still tasted amazing, and this is the recipe that well and truly mastered it.




Ingredients:


2 medium egg whites

30g of your favourite protein powder (I use MyVegan Soy Isolate in Chocolate).

20g of Oats

5tsp of water

Small knob of butter (for greasing the pan)


Toppings:

All your favourite fruits

Sugar-free/ 0 calorie maple syrup or regular maple syrup


Method:


  1. Pop everything in a blender. Put your liquid ingredients in first and then add the powders on top, this stops the powders from sticking to the bottom.

  2. Blend your mix. Depending on the consistency you can add a little more water if you need it here and blend again.

  3. Heat your pan and add in the butter.

  4. Once the butter has melted pour some mixture in. I use a big spoon that fits into the blender to do this.

  5. Cook the pancakes how you normally cook pancakes.

  6. When all the batters been cooked add your favourite toppings - I went for strawberries, blueberries and half a banana with the bulk powders 0 calorie syrup!
